Melbourne, Australia - June 10, 2016 - Sinefa has taken an important strategic step in its market development by signing a distribution agreement with ASX-listed software-licensing distributor, rhipe. The agreement will see Sinefa's network traffic software technology made available across Asia Pacific region (APAC).
Sinefa provides a combination of traffic visibility and control, which allows network managers to identify problems and give priority to mission-critical applications, saving time for both the network managers, and end users.
rhipe’s chief strategy officer, Chris Sharp, said the partnership with Sinefa is timely given companies are struggling with network performance issues and need deeper network-intelligence solutions from channel partners.
“As companies migrate more applications and devices to the cloud, and the virtualization of networks continues to drive demand for better visibility and control, Managed Service Providers (MSPs) need to be able to deliver network services to customers quickly, profitably and with the best possible quality,” said Sharp.
According to Sinefa’s Marketing Director Peter Russell, this subscription-software distribution agreement with rhipe is pivotal in broadening market opportunities for the Melbourne-based software company.
“rhipe is fast establishing itself as the pre-eminent software distributor in Asia Pacific, and it offers vendors like us a fast and efficient way to market,” Russell said. “Sinefa’s primary focus has been building partnerships in Australia; now the opportunity is to upscale the company’s exposure to the Asia Pacific region.”
Russell continued: ”rhipe is building primary relationships and integrating core purchasing functions with resellers in a wider geographical region than Sinefa can currently reach. Resellers don’t want to deal with many individual vendors, so it makes sense for them to go to one distributor to purchase their software, and receive one standard invoice for everything.”
Sinefa helps businesses save money by dramatically reducing the time and costs of troubleshooting network performance issues. It helps IT providers to see problems as they arise and address them before they become customer complaints. In a Cloud First world, this capability is critical.
Says Chris Sharp: “rhipe partners can now generate extra revenue from the sale of Sinefa services by helping them protect their customers’ business networks. This is both a fantastic capability, as well as a fantastic revenue opportunity for partners. At rhipe we believe our core proposition is that we help Cloud partners across APAC make money, save costs and reduce risk in their businesses. Sinefa is a solution that helps them do all three.”
Sinefa is also available as part of rhipe’s best-of-breed Indirect Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program, alongside a number of targeted business solutions from innovative ISVs that can help partners build differentiated offerings to SMB and Enterprise customers. Sinefa is an excellent addition to rhipe’s indirect CSP portfolio.
