End User Experience Monitoring

Get instant insights into endpoint devices, wifi, network paths and app performance for all your end users, wherever they're located.

Sinefa's integrated Digital Experience Monitoring solution includes end user experience monitoring (EUEM) via an easy to deploy endpoint agent. Monitor user experience, device and wifi health in real-time. Visualize network paths to critical applications, solve application performance problems, and deliver exceptional digital experiences.

See all your end users' experience in one place

Easily deploy the Sinefa Endpoint Agent for user monitoring and view endpoint device, wifi, local network and Internet performance at scale.

Troubleshoot end-to-end network paths

Launch on-demand network path monitoring for any endpoint agent from the Sinefa portal. See app response times, understand root causes.

Improve remote worker productivity

Solve hard to diagnose problems, reduce MTTR, ensure critical business transactions, improve productivity and employee engagement.

Endpoint agent map

See all your users' experience at a glance

Geolocation maps and tabular views make it easy to gain observability over all your end users, locations, ISPs, and experience scores at a glance. Filter endpoint views by connectivity type (wireless or not), provider, location, username, SSID/BSSID and when they were last seen.

Understand performance of the entire service delivery chain, fast

Sinefa Endpoint Agent is designed with ease of use in mind, so that help desk teams aren't overwhelmed with monitoring data points, but can rapidly troubleshoot from high level domain isolation down to root cause analysis. When you drill down to a specific endpoint, you get an instant understanding of where issues are occurring between the user and app. An interactive visualization of the service delivery chain shows endpoint, wifi, local network, Internet and application domains with color codes and performance score hover-over details. Click on any domain that is showing problems and view detailed performance graphs and other diagnostic details.

Channel Swapping

Get detailed insight into specific problem domains

Sinefa Endpoint Agent monitors key endpoint device metrics such as CPU, memory and disk utilization, but goes beyond endpoint-only performance monitoring tools. Get insight into wifi signal health and channel churn issues (as seen at left), local network gateway behavior, Internet paths and application performance. Quickly see which users are having local bottlenecks in endpoint device or network domains, with easy to scan endpoint performance data that gives you insight into root causes.

Gain application performance insights

Sinefa Endpoint Agents support synthetic application monitoring so you can understand the delivery of internal and SaaS applications such as Salesforce, Office 365 and Google Suite. Configure multiple application tests and view their performance scores at a glance, then explore key metrics such as DNS, TCP handshake, SSL handshake, and Time to First Byte. App-level tests are paired with underlying end-to-end and hop-by-hop network path monitoring so you can easily change context and see if Internet or network path issues are contributing to application performance problems.

See performance issues in external networks

Sinefa Endpoint Agent supports network path monitoring tests, revealing end-to-end and hop-by-hop performance metrics over time for paths to internal applications, SaaS or web services. Powerful visualizations let you see when network paths change, and where Layer 3 nodes in local, ISP or SaaS provider networks are experiencing loss, latency or jitter. Red nodes identify nodes experiencing packet loss so you can quickly focus on hot spots.

Examine per hop information such as Autonomous System Number (ASN), geolocation, IP address and node hostname, so you can understand which provider's network is experiencing issues. See per-hop metrics to understand how performance issues are impacting application delivery (such as page load times) and user satisfaction.

With path visibility, you can reduce guesswork about application slowdowns, network outages or other issues happening on the Internet or cloud provider networks, escalate effectively and ensure that service SLAs are upheld, and speed MTTR.

Frictionless deployment, instant visibility

Sinefa Endpoint Agent installs manually or automatically via silent installation as a MSI file, runs as an application on Microsoft Windows devices, and occupies a minimal memory footprint. Flexible tagging at installation allows you to organize large-scale endpoint deployments with group and other identifiers. Endpoint Agent works harmoniously with SD-WAN and cloud security agents, and overlay tunnels. Within moments of deployment, you’ll get deep visibility via the Sinefa SaaS web portal.

Integrated DEM visibility from everywhere that matters

Employees are increasingly working from home, which means that helpdesk and IT teams must cope with highly variable home IT environments that suffer unpredictable performance issues. Traditional network monitoring, log management and IT infrastructure monitoring tools can't reach those environments. Application performance monitoring solutions (APM--like Dynatrace, Catchpoint, AppDynamics and New Relic) are mostly suited for customer experience monitoring of web page front-ends and back-end server issues. APM application monitoring is far less effective for most employee-facing web applications that are SaaS and can't be instrumented via real user monitoring (RUM) javascript injection. User monitoring tools (like Aternity) tend to focus exclusively on the endpoint, and don't offer visibility into external network factors that have a large impact on user sessions. Whether employees are on-premises in the branch or working remotely, IT operations teams need a management solution that delivers complete visibility into user activity and performance bottlenecks, so they can quickly solve application delivery challenges from the end user point of view, and mitigate business impacts. That's why Gartner recognized a new market for Digital Experience Monitoring (DEM) solutions, even as it downgraded the traditional magic quadrant for Network Performance Monitoring and Diagnostics (NPMD).

Sinefa recognized in Gartner DEM Market Guide

Sinefa has been recognized in the 2020 Gartner Market Guide for Digital Experience Monitoring, as a representative vendor for synthetic monitoring and endpoint monitoring. The market guide highlights employee experience as an important new focus for enterprises, due to the massive relocation of workers to home offices, and the realization by many IT teams that they are ill-equipped with the visibility they need to support remote workers, solve WFH IT issues, and keep employees productive and engaged.

End User Experience Monitoring (EUEM): part of a holistic DEM solution

Sinefa delivers powerful end user monitoring capabilities as part of a holistic Digital Experience Monitoring platform that works across all your IT environments and covers broad monitoring use cases including work from home, branch office, data center and cloud VPC, SD-WAN and SASE. Sinefa DEM integrates user experience scoring powered by collective intelligence, traffic analysis, synthetic transaction monitoring, network path monitoring, and Endpoint Agent monitoring. You get all the visibility you need to ensure higher network uptime, conduct better application performance management, and achieve optimal business outcomes.
